Welcome to the official blog for the horror/cult/exploitation shop that is Massacre Video! Here I will be doing some little ramblings about the shop and possibly some reviews on our films and just film in general!
We have been down the past few months due to me moving and not having internet. Some how people were still able to order from the site, I do apologize as I was unaware that you ordered. Everything that has been ordered has either been refunded or shipped out to the customer! My assumption is that you were still able to get to the items threw search engines and it bypassed the page that said we were down. So once again I do apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you!
Now down to business, the site will be back up around the end of November! I have to replenish my stocks and attempt to get a few new titles in the store. Gotta remember aside from Massacre Video I work a shitty minimum wage cashier job so money is tight! But I do have many plans and many new titles that will be added soon! I am strongly considering ditching the osCommerce and building the site myself. While you wont have the nifty instant order process that osCommerce gives you, you will have a nicer looking site that will be easier for me to manage. Some feedback on this would be nice before I take the plunge, the new site would show all the titles and to order them you would just email me what you want and then I would send you the invoice.
As many of you know I bought the worldwide rights to Wally Koz's classic shot-on-video slasher gore fest 555 a few months back! I have gotten well over 100 emails asking about the release, this has made me pretty enthusiastic that it will be well received with the genre audience! The DVD is currently in production, it is going slowly right now but things are starting to pick up. Plans are on starting the cast interviews soon, they will be conducted by Brian Hirschbine whom runs the low budget production company Abortion Bin Productions(Brian also complied The Abortion Bin Mixtape that is on sale at Massacre Video).
